Random and Icy had recently visited a friend of Random’s who has great knowledge of Porygons. After some re-programming, they return to the rest of the group, still enjoying the sights of Random’s hometown, Celadon.
Sirius Vs. Random
“Hey All!” Icy was cheerful, riding atop his digital Pokémon.
    “’Allo.” The others responded.
“OOh! My favorite cafe!!!” Random shouted. He jogged to a stand and purchased himself a Cappuccino.
Dev interrupted Random’s slurping, “Guys - I think I am going to go my own way.”
    “SLURP....emph?” Random asked.
    “Yeah Dev, Why?” Insanellama said.
“I just need to make this work my own way.”
“Alright then, Good luck to you.” X said almost enthusiastically. Dev was on his way.
“He was kind of a freeloader, wasn’t he?” Random said between swallows of coffee.
“Yep.” The others said in unison.
“I wanna battle!” Random looked around, eager for a fight. His hands were shaking from the caffeine. He put the Cappuccino on the ground, and Ivysaur went to town on the remaining liquid.
“There’s a trainer right over there!” Llama shouted.
“You sure this is the way, Tom?” asked Seanish. Seanish, Tom, Kathy, Neo, Dern, Sirius, and Derrick were walking to Vermilion City.
    “What? Weren’t you leading us?”
    “No!”
“Then how come you’re in the front!?”
“I’m anticipating where you’re...” Seanish looked around. He recognized the area, but wasn’t sure it was the road to Vermilion City. He spotted a distant city.
“That’s Celadon City. Let’s just stay there for the night, we won’t make it to Cerulean or Vermilion City by nightfall,” he said. The others reluctantly agreed and continued towards Celadon City.
    Two hours later...
Sirius and the others walked around Celadon City in search of the Pokémon Center. A trainer left a Café and walked towards Sirius.
“Hey buddy!” Random shook with sugared-enthusiasm.
“What do you want?” Sirius was smaller than Random, and younger, but still unafraid.
“A Pokemon battle!” Random yelled, reaching for his balls. Pokéballs that is.... ecchi freaks.
“Alright then!!!” Sirius shouted back, “Dragonair: Go!!!”
    Random responded, “Snorlax: GO!!!”
    “Snorlax, Body Slam!” shouted Random.
“Dodge and counter, Dragonair!” said Sirius.
Snorlax, though very fat, rushed surprisingly fast. Dragonair moved her head to dodged but her body was nearly crushed by the Snorlax.
“Er... Dragonair, Agility!” shouted Sirius, nervously.
    “Slam it again, Snorlax!”
Dragonair managed to wiggle out from under Snorlax. Gaining speed, she quickly dodged Snorlax and positioned herself behind it.
    “Hyper Beam now!”
    “Snorlax, rest!”
Dragonair stood still. Snorlax would heal himself completely from the damage if it was hit by Hyper Beam first. Snorlax calmly lay down and began sleeping. Dragonair reared back her head and released the intense beam, hitting Snorlax in the back. It was blasted a few yards and rolled over a few times, but was relatively healthy. Sirius turned to Cubone.
“Now it’s your turn. Dragonair, return! Go, Cubone!”
“Cu?” Cubone stared up at the monstrous blob of fat. Snorlax began resting again.
“Get it before it wakes up, Cubone!”
Cubone jumped on Snorlax’s stomach and pounded its head with bone clubs.  Snorlax, though still sleeping, rolled over onto its stomach.
“Cu! Cu Cu bone bone bone...” said Cubone, muffled under the weight of Snorlax.
“Cu! Cu Cu bone bone bone...” said Cubone, muffled under the weight of Snorlax. Snorlax rolled over again, releasing Cubone. He breathed a sigh of relief.
“Cubone, stay back this time. Now, use the Bonemerang!” yelled Sirius, confidently.
    “Snorlax, come on! WAKE UP!”
“Snoor... laaaax...” Snorlax got up onto his feet to be greeted by a spinning bonemerang. Snorlax angrily charged at Cubone, who retrieved his bone and ran.
    “Now, Cubone, Skull Bash!”
Cubone stopped and stood his ground. He lowered his head and, at the right moment, bashed Snorlax on the stomach. Cubone bounced off.
“Snorlax, Headbutt!” shouted Random. Snorlax rushed forward again and hit Cubone square in the face. The skull helmet protected Cubone’s head, but he still was badly hurt.
    “Finish ‘em, Snorlax!”
    “Hit it with Bone Club!”
Snorlax jumped high into the air, hoping to smash Cubone under its weight.  Cubone jumped onto Snorlax’s belly in mid-air and bashed it hard. Snorlax fell to the ground, making a small crater.
“Good job, Cubone!” complimented Sirius as he patted Cubone on the head.
    “Snorlax, return! Go...”
“Go Ivysaur!!!” Ivan ran between Random’s legs, ready for action. “Ivan: Vine whip!” Ivan’s vines lifted above his sprouting seed on his back. They flung forward in an instant, smacking Cubone in the chest, knocking him to the ground. “Alright Ivan! Use Stun Spore!” “Quick Cubone! Use Bonemerang... and keep your distance.”
Cubone ran back a few steps and hurled his bone at the Ivysaur. Ivan’s spores carried in the wind past Cubone, leaving him unharmed.
CRASH the bone hit Ivysaur’s head, sending him reeling backwards. The bone struck him again returning back. Ivan was hurting.
Random yelled with vigor, “Razor leaf!” Sirius returned, “Bone Club!”
Cubone ran to Ivan and lunged in the air. Sharp leaves pelted him all the while. Cubone passed out and dropped the club onto Ivan’s head, knocking Ivan out as well.
“Return Ivysaur, Go...aww... crap... go Wigglytuff!”
“Wiggly!” sang the Wigglytuff as it was released from its Pokéball. Sirius shuddered.
“Now we’re in the dregs...” he muttered. “Go, Charmeleon!”
“Chaaaar!” growled Charmeleon. Wigglytuff ran around Charmeleon for no apparent reason. Charmeleon scratched his head.
    “Charmeleon, blow it away! Flamethrower!”
Charmeleon nodded in assent and blasted the fire at the disgustingly cute balloon creature. The creature was fried, but still healthy. It walked up to Charmeleon, still smiling.
    “Wigglytuff, Double-edge it!” shouted Random.
Wigglytuff reared back its arm and slashed Charmeleon across the face.  Charmeleon, though not seriously injured, was steaming mad.
    “Charmeleon, slash it now!”
Charmeleon opened his fist and slashed Wigglytuff in the belly. Wigglytuff, still smiling, seemed to get smaller, perhaps deflating.
“ARRGH! Wigglytuff, return! Guess you win. Unless...”
Random thought for a minute. “Caterpie would get hurt by Charmeleon - He is off limits. Growlithe is my only choice.”
“All I have left is this Growlithe!” Random threw the ball out. Growlithe came out in all his splendor.
Icy and Llama remarked from the side, “Growlithe is undefeated so far.” “Yeah - he is a great fighter!” “AYE RANDOM!!! DON”T USE ANY FIRE ATTACKS!! THEY ARE USELESS!!!”
“No help from the audience!” Sirius yelped. “Thanks guys! Growlithe: Tackle!”
The adequate puppy galloped to Charmeleon and pounced upon his face.  Charmeleon lost balance and fell to the ground.
“Charmeleon: Ember!” Sirius shouted. Flames erupted from below Growlithe.  Growlithe was barely affected!!!
    “Alright Growlithe!!! Bite him!”
As Charmeleon helped himself to his feet, Growlithe dug deep into his leg.
    “C’mon Charmeleon!!! Scratch him!!!”
Charmeleon overcame the pain and swung his paw at the puppy. The atmosphere was intense.
    “GRRRRRROOOOOOWWWWWWLLLL!” Growlithe roared. Charmeleon flinched.
The two fire Pokémon prepared their last attack. But before they could, Random returned Growlithe to his ball.
“Sorry. I don’t want to injure Growly. We had a great match. But whoever lost would have been greatly injured.” Random sighed.
“You’re right.” Sirius brought Charmeleon back too. “I am Sirius, Son of Lance.”
“I am Random of Clan Caterpie - Who is Lance?” Sirius smiled.
    “I’m Sirius, son of Lance.”
“I’m Random of Clan Caterpie - Who’s Lance?” Sirius smiled.
“You’ve never heard of him? He’s the head of the Elite Four.”
    “Oh,” said Random, sheepishly.
“And how am I supposed to know what ‘Clan Caterpie’ is?” asked Sirius.
“Just a group of trainers who like Caterpie,” replied Random. Sirius acknowledged him and noticed a Pikachu and a tall trainer had stepped outside.  The rest of Clan Caterpie, thought Sirius. He looked around to see that Seanish, Kathy, Derrick, Tom, and Neo left, and Dern heading his way.
“I won my Pokémon back!” he said. “You finished with your battle yet? That took a while...”
“Yeah. Dern, this is Random. Random, Dern.”
“Allo.” “Hey.” Seanish stepped forward, “Hey Random!” “Seanish! How’s it going?” “Alright.” Icy and Insanellama struck up conversations. X watched the crowd nervously.  Celadon had been getting more crowded in the last few weeks...
The two groups of trainers mingled.
