They snuck out early again before Oak woke up. And again, Oak woke up to an empty house. Their next stop would be in Celadon.
Porygon Airlines
“It’ll take forever if we walk and the neared Pidgeot Airport is in Pewter City. That about a two days walk from here.”
“We don’t have to walk anywhere. Go Porygon!” Porygon sprung out of its pokéball. The others started wondering what Icy was going to do. “Porygon, convert to flying type and run program JetBird.” Porygon glowed as a fine set of polygonal wings appeared from its sides. “Everybody on!” They all got onto Porygon why have hollowed out seats for them.
“Is there an in-flight movie Icy?” Insane asked jokingly.
“Sorry. No VCR on this Porygon. Maybe later.”
From many miles away, the silver pokémon clicked on its jetpack and set a course for Celadon City too. “I’ll fulfill my destiny when the time is right Icy. You won’t be able to interfere with my plans.”
As they fly off into the sunlight, who knows what dangers and new challenges lie in store for our heroes. And why does that mysterious silver pokémon keep following them. Don’t miss Clan Caterpie’s next post, right here on AGNP!
Porygon started to descend as they neared Celadon. It came to a perfect stop on the road into town. When they got off the porygon, “There’s an air show for flying pokemon here every year. It’s just about time for it I believe, you could enter porygon Icy!” said Random.
Needless to say, they headed straight for the registration booth. “I’d like to enter my porygon in the air-show” said Icy through the translator. Insanellama quickly related the tale of icy to the attendant.
She still looked confused, “A porygon? They can’t fly.”
“Mine Can,” said Icy. The attendant agreed, and gave them a number. Before anyone knew what was going on, Icy was frantically programming a stunt routine into the Porygon.
Toocold went over to take a look. “You know, if you change the angle on that dive two degrees, you’ll have more speed coming out of it, and can do something REALLY spectacular with that speed.” Toocold being a pretty good mechanic and engineer. “Also, I can probably give porygon a little more power if you’ll let me take a look at something,” said Toocold.
“Sure,” said Icy. Toocold removed one of porygon’s access panels, and went to work. Seconds later he closed up and walked back over to icy. It had worked. When Icy finished, they walked over to the start line. The other competitors were Pidgeot, and Fearow. Icy was last. When it was his turn up, the score to beat was a 9.83 out of a possible 10.0.
Porygon took off and ran the routine of dives, flips, spins, and other maneuvers. When it landed, the judges scored it a 9.87. The crowd was astonished to see a porygon win. The prize was a trophy and $500. Icy held up the trophy triumphantly! The crowd quickly departed, and they were left in a relatively empty town square.
