When we last left off, the St. Anne II had been destroyed, with Mewthree, Lewis, Bridget, and Mew barely escaping.  Several hours later, they arrive at Cinnabar Island.  Now we join our heroes at the Pokémon Center...
    “It’s about time!  I thought we’d never reach Cinnabar!” Bridget says. “Indeed.” Mew says.  “Well, I have work to do!  I have to turn this fossil I found into the fossil reviver people, then battle the Cinnabar Gym leader!” Mewthree says.  Mewthree turned in the fossil an hour later to the important Doctor.  “Wow!  This is a fossil of Kabutops!  Kabutops has been extinct for some time.  Come back in an hour and you’re fossil will be revived!” the Professor says.
    “I’ll wait for Kabutops to be ready before I fight Blaine.  A rock/water type should easily beat Blaine!” Mewthree says as the 4 walk down the coast of Cinnabar.  “Hey Mewthree, remember when we were here last time?” Lewis asks.  “Yah.  MissingNo.  I’m glad we don’t have to deal with him again.” Mewthree replies.  “Well, Mewtwo might have revived him...  Do you think it’ll appear again?” Lewis asks.  “That’s very unlikely.  When I read MissingNo.’s mind, I discovered something.  It only appears to people who are looking for him.  Otherwise it’ll just never appear.” Mewthree says.  “I really want to see this, ‘MissingNo.’!” Bridget shouts.  “No you don’t! MissingNo. Is VERY powerful.  It can kill you if you’re not careful.” Lewis says.  Suddenly, they notice a skeleton on the beach.  “Hey!  That looks like the skeleton of a Kabutops!” Lewis shouts.  They all run over to it and examine it.  It didn’t look like anything had killed it.  “How do you think it died?” Mewthree asks.  “No idea.” Mew replies.  They all start walking back.  Then Mew notices something.  “Guys!  Turn around!” Mew shouts.
    To the 4 horror and amazement, the skeleton was rising.  Suddenly, they all felt a burning in their eyes.  “Hey!  What’s happening!” Bridget shouts. They all cover their eyes and the skeleton laughs, “So you think you’re smart, aye?  You think you’re powerful!  I am invincible!”  “What is that thing!  I’ve never seen anything like it in my life!” Lewis shouts.  “You don’t?  Oh I’m hurt!  I’m devastated!  You don’t remember you’re old friend MissingNo.?” The horrible creature laughs.
    “MissingNo.!” Lewis and Mewthree shout at the same time.  “That’s correct! And what do our lucky winners get?  A drained amount of fear!” MissingNo. Laughs.  “Mew and Bridget, don’t be afraid of MissingNo.!  He can’t hurt you if you’re not afraid of him!” Lewis shouts.  “What’s with the new body, MissingNo.?  When we last saw you, you looked like a glitch on a computer screen!” Mewthree shouts.  “Now having everyone knowing what I looked like, I needed a new fear making appearance!  And an extinct Pokémon’s bones walking and talking is something VERY scary.” MissingNo. Replies.  “We’re not gonna let you do anything else!  We’re gonna defeat you again! Lickitung go!” Mewthree shouts.  Lickitung comes out of its pokéball and stands away from MissingNo.  Mewthree telekinetically told Lickitung everything about MissingNo. So it wouldn’t be afraid.  “Lickitung!  Use your Lick attack!” Mewthree commands.  Lickitung’s long tongue came out and licked the bones.  MissingNo. Charged and fainted Lickitung.  “Return Lickitung!  Dratini, go!” Mewthree shouts.  Dratini came out of its pokéball and stood ten feet away from MissingNo.  “Dratini!  Give that bone pile a hyper beam!” Mewthree commands.  Dratini’s mouth opened, and powered up a hyper beam.  Dratini launched the hyper beam with exact precision and gracefulness.  Unfortunately, MissingNo. Used the blades from the Kabutops skeleton and blocked the hyper beam.  “I have an idea!” Bridget shouts. “What?” Lewis asks.  “We run!!!” she shouts and she starts running.  “You can run, humans, but you cannot hide!  I will return!  You will not resist telling the tale to others.  People will come to catch the phantom Pokémon, and I will drain their fear!  Ha ha ha ha ha!” MissingNo. Laughed.
    “Ok, we’ve lost him.   But what now?” Bridget asked.  “I’ve already thought of a plan.” Mewthree says.  “You have?  What is it master?” Mew asks. “MissingNo. Is in the guise of the skeleton of a Kabutops, right?” Mewthree asks.  “Yes...” Lewis replies.  “What do you think the real thing would do against it?” Mewthree asks.  “Of course!  Your Kabutops!  It’s been an hour, let’s get it!” Mew shouts.
    Ten minutes later, Mewthree’s Kabutops was ready within its pokéball.  He returned to the spot he had seen MissingNo.  MissingNo. Was waiting for him. “Ready to lose again, Mewthree?” MissingNo. Asked.  “Not a chance.  Your bony form gives you the advantage by looking like an extinct Pokémon.  But what happens when you fight the real thing, I wonder?  Kabutops!  I choose you!” Mewthree commanded.  A bladed Pokémon came out of the pokéball and stood not 10 feet away from MissingNo.  “Huh?  A real Kabutops!  I’ll finish it off easily with a water gun attack!”  MissingNo. Shouts.  MissingNo. Fired water out of its mouth and it hit Kabutops.  It barely lost 1 HP. “What???” MissingNo. Shouted.  “Ha!  How pathetic.  I expected more out of you, MissingNo.  Kabutops!  Hydro pump!  Show that freak a REAL water attack!” Mewthree commands.  Kabutops fired a massive pump of water from its mouth at the skeleton who was knocked into a wall.  MissingNo. Got back up. “Oh yeah, I’ll use my Sky attack against it!” MissingNo. Shouts with pleasure.  MissingNo. Glowed, then shot up to the sky.  It soared down and knocked Kabutops to the ground.  “Ha!  I have won!” MissingNo. Shouts with pure bliss.  Kabutops easily got up.  Its eyes were bright red with fury. MissingNo. Looked at his eyes.  “Kabutops!  Power up with swords dance, then release a fury of Slashes!” Mewthree commands.  Kabutops spun around very fast, then sliced into the bones 5 times.  MissingNo. Fell down.  It was at 1 HP.  Mewthree took out a pokéball.  “This is the only way to ensure that you never return, MissingNo.!  Pokéball go!” Mewthree shouts.  The pokéball hit the bones, and sucked in MissingNo.  It wiggled for a full 15 seconds. It then clicked.  Mewthree picked up the ball.  “Alright!  I got MissingNo.! Unfortunately...” he shouts.  The ball suddenly sparked for second.  Nothing else happened after that.  Mewthree was quick.  He didn’t want this thing within his vest.  He quickly deposited it in a box in the Pokémon center, and sent it into the PC.  “Come on guys, I have a Gym leader to beat!” Mewthree says to the others.  Mewthree was happy that MissingNo. Would no longer do terror and destruction and fear, but inside he felt that he had done more damage catching it then letting it be free...
